REMEMBER WHEN
MAYSVILLE
HAD A GREAT RV
PARK?

We're
Back and Better Then Ever!

New Owners
and Camp Hosts in 2004
As we approach the opening of
The Pony Express RV Park and Campgrounds
For this our 3rd season, let's pause, reflect, and try to delineate the
Top 10 Things we've learned as RV Park owners.
Jeff wants them posted on the chalk board so I have to be succinct.
For the long version see "New News" next door. Speaking of next door
our neighbors are wonderful...
- Be prepared to spend a lot of money
- Procrastination is the key
- Advise is always available
- Don't expect anything to turn out as expected
- The weather gets worse; grating and graveling the roads insures a downpour
- Bugs rule, more flies are caught with honey though our animal spray is killer
- Good help is hard to afford
- Camper's dogs don't bark
- Flora flourishes, machines and men break
- Gorgeous surroundings and healthy animals require lots of work
The Big Mystery
The Question to be Answered:
HOW TO MAKE A LIVING ON LUSHNESS!?!
Lastly from Jeff:
"A living is what you take out of it,
A life is what you give back"
(This as he rolls over, eyes tight against the day, a telltale message both verbally and non)
Sincerely and with a sense of humor,
Susie and Jeff at
