Labor Day Weekend 2005

 It cooled off and greened up again requiring a complete mowing and trimming of The Park.  We had gravel delivered and the roads grated... twice. The bathrooms and privies were cleaned (as usual) plus the showers and stall mats were power-washed to perfection.  Everything was, if not spit polished, well, pretty darn clean and picked up! No time to put up the latest batch of signs, but the pier was repaired, christened "Promenade Pier" and bedecked with Tiki lights and Starlit Stage was electrically improved and opened for business. Flyers and signs were out advertising "Live Music" with Glen Cockrum & The Broken Trail Band" for Sunday evening. "Ole' Yeller" our trailer  was lined with hay bales and hooked up to the J.D. 4430, ready to get extreme. The Country Store was stocked with snacks, pop and ice cream along with souvenirs and articles of clothing tie-dyed and sporting the new logo: .  And our newest animal additions, the bunnies Billy Jean and Buck, had four precious 2 week old babies to show off.  Bring on the campers! Another big weekend full of laughter and laid back fun.  Yeha!
